There is a lot of attention for influencer marketing online . Companies are experimenting with it. I have the honor of reviewing the very first book on this subject: ' #SPON: the golden rules for influencer marketing ' (aff.) by Rocco Stallvord of the influencer agency We Are First . Which tips from this book can you apply immediately and which you may not know yet? I will highlight a quote for each tip.


Marketing costs money and so does influencer marketing. Yet not every company dares to set aside a budget for it. You need it for compensation to influencers, but especially for management. Because:

Whether you tackle it internally or call in outside help, someone will invest time in it and that time costs money.

If your budget is not that big, think further. What do you have to offer? Can you increase the influencer’s authority, offer a scoop or a unique experience? Put yourself in their shoes.

2. Get started with Instagram

3. Check the evolution of your influencer
