In addition to representing an opportunity for commerce, this is a reflection of the collective desire to share joy and affection through the exchange of gifts, since 58% (compared to 54% who bought in 2021) of Brazilians intend to buy gifts for someone. Of the 58% who intend to give someone a gift, 44% want to give a gift to their spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend, 41% to their son/daughter or stepchild, 39% to their father or mother and 18% to their nephew /niece or godchild. This only consolidates the date as a period of emotional and economic prosperity.
