It is ideal to process all of this into one Word document that you make available - for example, as an external link.
You should be careful to communicate clearly:
When does your Facebook contest start and end?
How to enter the competition.
What kind of win is it specifically?
Confirm any competition restrictions, e.g. participants must be over 18 years old.
Please indicate how you will draw the winner and how you will notify them.
Explain how you will announce the winner's name.
Facebook asks that you mention in the terms and conditions that by participating in the competition, the participant:
It gives everyone's consent that Facebook has no obligations to them and also
a statement that the promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook.
PROTIP: You can make your job easier if you copy the Facebook Terms and Conditions - Policies for Pages, Groups and Events into your contest terms and conditions document.
Great! You just finished planning.
Promote your Facebook contest
5. Promote your Facebook contest
If you want a really large number of people to participate in the contest, I recommend announcing the contest on all the channels you have available. This means:
Write a status about the competition on your personal Facebook account.
Announce on Facebook story a few days before the start of the competition on Facebook stories
Ask your salon team (if you have one) to share the competition on their Facebook accounts and stories
Announce the competition on your Instagram (post + stories)
Have small flyers about the competition printed for your salon
If you have a website, create a subpage dedicated to information about the competition with a link to the competition Facebook post
Support the competition post with a few euros (5-15€) so that it appears as a sponsored post (click on the blue "sponsor" button in the post and select the target group in the settings: gender, age and location), this way you will increase the reach of the competition and other new potential clients will learn about you.
